Some people buy old goods that are cheap in the markets and use them in different ways to make a good profit. AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Naqibullah, a resident of Bagram district, Parwan province.

Naqibullah talks about his business, “I purchase old tires in the market and then I make mangers for goats and sheep and sell them in the bazaar.

At the beginning, I cut the tire in a round shape and then I make the bottom of the manger from the vehicle’s tube. I buy one old tire about 20 Afghanis and I sell each manger for 120-150 Afghanis and I get 50-100 Afghanis benefit from each piece of mangers.”

New Skills:

Some people learn new skills and get sufficient benefit from them. AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Robina Wafa, a resident of Kabul city.

Robina says, “I saw that many people like painting ornaments but as oily painting are expensive and they could not buy them, I learn to make ornament by using thread and nails from my friends one year ago and then I started my own work with the help of my brother.

At the beginning, I held a street exhibition and I displayed my ornaments in it and many visitors liked, purchased and ordered to make tableau for them. I always display my works in exhibitions if hold in Kabul city and I also display my ornaments through social media. Most of my customers are juveniles and my monthly income reaches (5000-10000) Afghanis.”
