Many craftsmen complain from not have enough customers for their products but some others have found a solution to this issue.

AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Mariam Raza, a resident of Kabul city who has brought some changes in her products.

Mariam Raza says: “We started to produce couches, seats, and rugs in a company two years ago. These items are handicrafts and different from other products found in the market. More than 500 women are weaving rug seat covers in different provinces and about 10 persons are working in the company here in Kabul, 6 of them are women and the remainder are men. We have designers and they design the seat covers and then we send the designs to our workers in the provinces. We prepare couches, seats and seat covers according to the orders of our customers.

Our more customers are living abroad and we have online marketing. We only send rug seat covers to abroad and our monthly selling reaches about 400-500 meter rug seat covers. We sell  couches, seats, and tables inside the country and we get a 15% Afghanis to benefit from our products.”

Online Property Dealer:

AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Abdul Khaliq Muhibi, a resident of Kabul city.

Muhibi says about his work: “I have been working from two years back in my property dealer office. Recently I started to find customers online and it increased my customers almost four times more than before.

I usually post the pictures of any property like cars, homes for rent, sell or mortgage on my facebook page and the customers contact me. If they want to visit the property, they contact me on the facebook messenger, I give them the address and they could see the property.”
