Most Afghans always live in a peace and they help each other but some minor problems cause anger among some families and relatives.

AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to some people about the problems which might create anger among relatives.

Hayatullah Tasal, a resident of Waghiz district, Ghazni province says: “my father was upset with my uncle. They were not taking part in any parties of each other so that we were facing many problems.”

Zabihullah, a resident of Andar district, Ghazni province says: “my father was abroad and my uncle was solving our problems. Sometimes later, something caused my uncle to be upset with us. We were not young enough to take care of our garden or to plow the ground and almost half of our grapevines dried. Our well dried and we were not able to dig another well.”

What causes anger among relatives?

Muhammad Sharif Mardan, a resident of Kandahar province says: “sadness between relatives has many causes. One of our relatives engaged her daughter and invite none of his relatives in the engagement ceremony. When he invited his relatives in his daughter’s wedding ceremony, no one took part in that ceremony.”

How to solve this problem?

Muhammad Sharif says: “my relatives hold a Jirga and invited those who were upset with them and they reconciled with each other.”

Qabil, a resident of Paktia province says: “a small issue caused us to cut our relations with one of our relatives and were not taking part in any kind of their ceremony. The elders of our village came together and reconciled us. Now we have no problems among us and.”
