New Thought

New thought sometimes causes an increase in benefits. AEPO’s writer/producer had a visit from an exhibition in Kabul city and there she had talked to Zarmena Muhammadi.

Zarmena talks about her business, “I and about 15 other women are selling handicrafts in the exhibition. To increase our customers, we prepared Samanak (Juice of germinating wheat mixed with flour and brought to a consistency) and distribute it free to our customers. This new thought increased our customer three times more than before. For example, if we have 2000 Afghanis sales in ordinary days, we have about 6000 thousand Afghanis sales in the days of Samanak. Some customers order us to prepare them Samanak and they promise to purchase more items from our shops too.”

 Positive Changes:

When Some businessmen face loss, they accept their failure but some others could find solutions to such problems.

AEPO’s writer/producer has talked to Tahmina, a resident of Kabul city.

Tahmina says, “I opened a private school about 3 years ago and I spent about 600 thousand Afghanis for school equipment and facilities. Last year during quarantine time, most of the students left the school and I was to close the school but I brought some positive changes in the school. We reduced fees of students; raised the quality of education; increased entertainment; changed our teaching technique from theory to practice and we were teaching the school lessons through videos too. We also did marketing for our school.

After bringing the mentioned changes, the number of our students increased 100 % and now we can pay our teachers’ salary; rent of the school building and also can solve our economic problems.
