Fast Talking

1st  Lane:

Haris asks Shukria to have a race with him, but shukria denies and says that running would make them tired. Peddler arrives and they warmly greet him. Shukria shares the issue with him. Peddler reminds them the game of fast talking. He tells a short sentence and asks them to repeat it five times without any mistake. At the beginning, they make some mistakes, but finally, they succeed to repeat the saying without mistake. Peddler awards them by a gift and goes to the next lane.

2nd Lane:

Adila and Haroon are waiting for the peddler to tell them a new joke. Peddler arrives and after greeting he turns on the tape recorder:

Nadim asks Zakir: “Could you see the ant climbing on the mountain? Nadim asks: “which one do you mean; the one with closed eyes or the other one with long mustachio?”

Adila and Haroon like the joke. Peddler wants them to learn some new jokes for next time and he goes to the next lane.

3rd Lane:

Peddler enters the lane. Children welcome him. Hidayat and Rashida ask him to tell the third episode the Greedy Crow. Peddler asks them about the previous episode. Rashida says: the daughter of magpie asked her mother to bring some salt from crow’s house. She went there, but the crow denied to give him salt and she returned home.

Peddler says: “magpie cooked dishes without salt and apologized the guests. One evening, black clouds covered the sky, heavy rain started. magpie saved his chicks in her nest, but crow was sitting with her chick at his home, which was made of salt.”

3rd Episode:

The chick of the crow was afraid of rain and said that it would ruin their house, but his mother said that nothing would happen. The rain melted their house. Crow and her chick sat beside a big stone, but the rain did not leave them safe. They went to magpie’s house and asked her to let them live in her nest.
